This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for the Quick Assistance platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1Free Trial
New accounts include a 5-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. Your trial begins only after we assign your dedicated phone number.
2Subscription Fees (What You Pay Us)
- Subscription plans are billed monthly in advance.
- Once a billing period begins, subscription fees are non-refundable.
- If you cancel, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access until then.
- We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time.
Exception: We may, at our discretion, issue a refund for a billing error or duplicate charge. Contact support@quickassistance.ca if you believe you were charged in error.
3Customer Booking Payments (What Your Customers Pay You)
When your customers pay for bookings through the platform, those payments are for your services. Quick Assistance facilitates the payment via Stripe on your behalf but does not own the transaction between you and your customer.
- Refunds for booking payments are governed by your own business's refund policy.
- You, the Business, decide whether to refund your customers and issue those refunds.
- Refunds you issue are processed through Stripe. Stripe's original processing fee is generally not returned when a refund is issued.
Quick Assistance is not responsible for, and does not mediate, refund disputes between you and your customers.
4How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are issued through Stripe.
- Once issued, refunds typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on the recipient's card or account. This timing is controlled by the card networks and the recipient's bank, not by Quick Assistance or Stripe.
- The original payment processing fee is generally not refunded by Stripe.
5Chargebacks and Disputes
If a customer disputes a charge with their bank (a "chargeback"), it is handled through Stripe's dispute process. For booking payments, the Business is responsible for responding to disputes relating to its own services.
